After the merger, Dong Nai province has 11 district-level administrative units and 159 commune-level administrative units.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly has just issued Resolution No. 1194/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Dong Nai province for the 2023-2025 period.

Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Bien Hoa City as follows:

Merge the entire natural area of ​​0.56 km2, population of 9,283 people of Hoa Binh ward and adjust part of the natural area of ​​0.13 km2, population of 3,553 people of Tan Phong ward to merge into Quang Vinh ward.

Merge the entire natural area of ​​0.37 km2, population of 6,234 people of Thanh Binh ward, the entire natural area of ​​1.37 km2, population of 17,247 people of Quyet Thang ward and adjust a part of the natural area of ​​0.03 km2, population of 1,037 people of Tan Phong ward to merge into Trung Dung ward.

Merge the entire natural area of ​​1.31 km2 and population of 16,236 people of Tan Tien ward into Tan Mai ward.

Merge the entire natural area of ​​1.21 km2 and population of 19,160 people of Tam Hoa ward into Binh Da ward.

After adjustment, Tan Phong ward has a natural area of ​​16.69 km2 and a population of 53,498 people.

After the arrangement, Bien Hoa City has 25 commune-level administrative units, including 24 wards and 1 commune.

Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Long Khanh City as follows:

Merge the entire natural area of ​​1.00 km2, population of 12,969 people of Xuan Trung ward and the entire natural area of ​​1.39 km2, population of 11,575 people of Xuan Thanh ward into Xuan An ward.

After the arrangement, Long Khanh City has 13 commune-level administrative units, including 9 wards and 4 communes.

Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Tan Phu district as follows:

Merge the entire natural area of ​​15.48 km2 and population of 9,610 people of Phu Trung commune into Phu Son commune.

Adjust a part of the natural area of ​​15.26 km2, population of 3,686 people of Nui Tuong commune to merge into Phu Lap commune.

Merge the entire natural area of ​​8.18 km2 and population of 3,235 people of Nui Tuong commune after adjustment according to regulations into Nam Cat Tien commune.

After the arrangement, Tan Phu district has 16 commune-level administrative units, including 15 communes and 1 town.

Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Vinh Cuu district as follows:

Merge the entire natural area of ​​209.50 km2 and population of 5,358 people of Hieu Liem commune into Tri An commune.

Merge the entire natural area of ​​6.72 km2 and population of 6,902 people of Binh Hoa commune into Tan Binh commune.

After the arrangement, Vinh Cuu district has 10 commune-level administrative units, including 9 communes and 1 town.

After rearranging commune-level administrative units, Dong Nai province has 11 district-level administrative units, including 9 districts and 2 cities; 159 commune-level administrative units, including 117 communes, 33 wards and 9 towns.

This Resolution comes into force from November 1, 2024.
