On February 27, according to a source from Lao Dong Newspaper, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Thai Nguyen province held a ceremony to announce the decision to transfer and appoint personnel.
According to Decision No. 367 of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, Mr. Nguyen Van Kien - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs was transferred to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of the province, from March 1, 2025. The term of appointment is 5 years.
The appointment is to meet the requirements of work and job positions on the basis of the arrangement of the apparatus of Thai Nguyen provincial government agencies.
From March 1, 2025, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will merge with the Department of Home Affairs; the vocational education sector will be handed over to the Department of Education and Training.
Also from this time, the Department of Education and Training will operate according to Decision 488/QD-UBND dated February 26, 2025 on organization, functions and tasks. The department has 6 specialized departments (1 room less than before) and 35 public service units.
