Establishing 11 Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee

The members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee voted to approve the establishment of 11 Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee.

On the afternoon of February 27, in Hanoi, Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man chaired the second Conference of the National Assembly Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that at the first Conference, the National Assembly Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term passed a Resolution with many important contents, which are the basis and premise for the organization and operation of the National Assembly Party Committee and specifically directed agencies to prepare contents related to the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus to submit to the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and approval and successfully organize the 9th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly.

The National Assembly Chairman said that at the second Conference, the National Assembly Party Executive Committee focused on giving opinions and approving decisions to establish Party Committees directly under the National Assembly Party Committee; listened to the report of the Party Committee Standing Committee on the appointment of Party committees at all levels for Party Committees directly under the National Assembly Party Committee.

At the Conference, Central Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha presented the Proposal on the establishment of Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee;

Report the results of the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term to the affiliated Party Committees.

Accordingly, based on the Decision on transfer of party organizations and party members of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, the Decision on receiving 2 organizations and 2,785 party members, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee submitted to the Party Executive Committee on the establishment of 11 Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee.

The Party Committees include: State Audit Party Committee; National Assembly Office Party Committee; Ethnic Council Party Committee; Law and Justice Party Committee; Economic and Financial Party Committee; Party Committee of National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee; Party Committee of the Committee for Culture and Society; Party Committee of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment; Party Committee of the Delegation Work Committee; Party Committee of the Committee for Civil Affairs and Supervision; Party Committees of advisory and support agencies of the National Assembly Party Committee.

At the Conference, members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee voted to approve the establishment of 11 Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee with 100% of the delegates present in favor.
