Accordingly, the Decision to establish the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Can Tho City Party Committee has comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tam - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee - holding the position of Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee.
The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Can Tho City Party Committee is a specialized agency advising and assisting the City Party Committee; has legal status, its own seal and account, and is equipped with facilities and working means according to regulations.
Decision to end the activities of party delegations, party executive committees, Party Committees of the Civil Party Agencies, and Party Committees of the City's Business Sector.
Decision to establish the Party Committee of the City Party agencies under the Can Tho City Party Committee, including 26 grassroots party organizations and 735 party members, on the basis of receiving a number of grassroots party organizations and party members from the Party Committee of the City Party Civil Affairs Bloc; Appointing the Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, with 27 comrades (currently 26 comrades, 1 comrade is absent). Comrade Pham Van Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council - holds the position of Party Committee Secretary.
Decision to establish the Party Committee of the City People's Committee under the Can Tho City Party Committee, including 68 grassroots party organizations and 6,992 party members, on the basis of receiving a number of grassroots party organizations and party members from the Party Committee of the City's Civil Affairs Bloc and the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc; Appointing the Party Committee Executive Committee of the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term with 27 comrades. The Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee holds the position of Party Committee Secretary.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee Do Thanh Binh stated that this is a very meaningful event, demonstrating the spirit of determination, urgency, ensuring progress and efficiency in seriously implementing the Resolution of the Central Executive Committee and the Conclusion of the Politburo on reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus in the political system. The announcement of the decisions is a historic turning point in the process of innovation of the apparatus and political system of the city.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee suggested that we continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, efforts, overcoming difficulties, overcoming all difficulties, quickly stabilizing, focusing on implementing work according to the new organizational model and putting it into operation immediately, ensuring good inheritance of the tasks of Party organizations that have ended their operations, not allowing interruption, stagnation, or omission of tasks, areas, and fields; not allowing it to affect the normal activities of society, people, and businesses.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized that it is necessary to strengthen propaganda, dissemination and implementation of the Party's policy on the necessity of rearranging and reorganizing the Party Committee model of the City Party agencies, the City People's Committee Party Committee, and the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
“Urgently develop working regulations or review, supplement, and amend the working regulations of the agency and each affiliated unit in each agency, in the spirit of “running while lining up” to ensure full implementation of the new functions and tasks of each agency and unit. In each task, the presiding unit and the presiding person must be clear. The assignment of tasks must be consistent and not overlap,” said the Secretary of the City Party Committee.
It is necessary to urgently complete the reception of Party organizations and Party members; strengthen Party organizations and complete Party committees to ensure operations immediately after reception, without affecting the normal operations of the unit.
The Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee requested that the Party Committee of the City People's Committee urgently lead and direct the implementation of the arrangement of the administrative apparatus of specialized agencies and public service units in the city, ensuring the completion and putting the new apparatus into operation by the end of February 2025.
