Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Le Trong Yen signed a document urging localities to implement land use plans.
In particular, the People's Committee of Gia Nghia city was criticized for being slow in this matter. The Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requested the Gia Nghia City People's Committee to urgently submit the 2025 land use plan dossier to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for appraisal and submission to the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee for approval.
The remaining districts are also required to complete the documents. According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, 7/8 district-level administrative units have submitted documents. Gia Nghia City People's Committee alone has not submitted.
There are 6 districts that have been issued for appraisal by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, 1 district is seeking opinions from departments, branches and sectors.
Tuy Duc and Cu cut districts have completed the dossier after appraisal. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the land use plan of Tuy Duc district and is expected to submit to approve the plan of Cu cut district before February 20.
Krong No and Dak Mil districts have received appraisal notices since January 2025 but have not yet completed their documents. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment requires these localities to complete and send them before February 20.
In recent years, Gia Nghia city has always been a late destination in making annual land use plans.
In 2022, the land use plan was approved in December 2022. In 2023, the land use plan was approved at the end of August 2023. In 2024, the city's land use plan was approved at the end of April 2024.
