On March 14, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc worked with Dong Nai province and related localities on the construction progress of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway projects.
According to the report, the construction progress of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 3 project (through Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) meets the requirements and will be technically open to traffic before April 30.
Particularly for component projects 1 and 2 passing through Dong Nai province, the construction output is currently low, causing difficulties in site clearance, relocation of technical infrastructure systems and construction materials.
Mr. Duong Minh Dung - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that the locality strives to complete the handover of the remaining 300m of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway project to the investor in May 2025.
For the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, the locality will basically hand over the site in March 2025.
Regarding the relocation of the technical infrastructure system, component project 1 will be completed in April 2025 and component project 2 will be completed in July 2025.
Dong Nai has coordinated with relevant units and has basically removed difficulties and obstacles in construction materials for project construction.
Mr. Ho Thanh Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee also suggested that for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway component 2 project, the investor, Project Management Board 85, speed up the construction progress.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc suggested that Dong Nai province soon complete site clearance and relocate the technical infrastructure system of the two projects of Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway.
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister also suggested that Dong Nai should pay attention to building beautiful and modern resettlement areas so that people have a new place to live better than the old place; Closely coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to completely handle difficulties and problems related to construction materials serving projects. For related units, they must coordinate to speed up the construction progress, determined to complete the projects on schedule.
Previously, on March 13, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and the working delegation of Chinh Phu inspected the two projects of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway and Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway.
