Prime Minister appoints Deputy Head of the Government Office

Mr. Pham Manh Cuong was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Government Office.

Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 515/QD-TTg dated March 4, 2025 appointing Mr. Pham Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Agriculture, Government Office - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Government Office.

Mr. Pham Manh Cuong was born in 1971, hometown: Nam Truc, Nam Dinh. He has a PhD in Agricultural Sciences (at the University of Goettingen - Federal Republic of Germany), a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management (at the Asian Academy of Technology), and a Bachelor's degree in General Forestry (at the Vietnam Forestry University).

Mr. Pham Manh Cuong is a well-trained cadre with solid professional qualifications, and has over 30 years of experience working at state management agencies in localities and central levels.

He has over 20 years of experience as a specialist and department-level leader at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, 2 years as Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tuyen Quang province, and 7 years as Director of the Government Office.

During his working career, he has been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister, the Minister in charge of the Government Office, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province many times.

The current leaders of the Government Office include Minister, Director Tran Van Son and Deputy Directors: Mr. Nguyen Sy Hiep, Ms. Mai Thi Thu Van, Mr. Do Ngoc Huynh, Mr. Trinh Manh Linh and Mr. Pham Manh Cuong.
