On the afternoon of March 7, at the Government headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a national online conference to disseminate and implement the laws and resolutions just passed at the 9th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly.
The conference was organized by the Government in coordination with the National Assembly Standing Committee and relevant agencies; connected online from the Government headquarters to connecting points in 63 provinces and centrally-run cities.
Also attending the conference were members of the Party Central Committee: Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc; leaders of National Assembly agencies, ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Office of the President, leaders of provinces and centrally run cities.
According to the conference program, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh thoroughly grasped the content of the results of perfecting institutions on organizing the apparatus to implement the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long presented a summary report of the Government on the implementation of laws and resolutions passed by the 15th National Assembly at the 9th Extraordinary Session.
Next, leaders of ministries, central and local agencies presented thematic reports.
In which, the leader of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee presented a summary report on new points, key contents of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly and the arrangement and organization of the National Assembly's agencies.
The leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs presented a summary report on new points, key contents of the Law on Government Organization, the Law on Organization of Local Government and the organizational structure, number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term.
The leaders of the Ministry of Justice presented the Report summarizing new points, key contents of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and the Resolution on handling a number of issues related to the arrangement of the state apparatus; preparing resources for implementation.
Leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology presented a Report summarizing new points and key contents of the National Assembly Resolution on piloting a number of policies to remove obstacles in scientific, technological and innovation activities, and preparation for implementation.
After local leaders speak and discuss, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will conclude the conference.
