Prime Minister proposes National Assembly approves appointment of Deputy Prime Minister and a number of Ministers

The Prime Minister has submitted to the National Assembly a proposal to approve the appointment of Deputy Prime Minister and a number of Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

On the afternoon of October 24, continuing the 10th Session, the National Assembly held a separate meeting on personnel work under the direction of Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

At the meeting, the National Assembly listened to Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh present a report on the proposal for the National Assembly to approve the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term and approve the appointment of a number of Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

After listening to the submission, the National Assembly discussed the above content in the Delegation.

Previously, the National Assembly voted to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to dismiss Mr. Bui Thanh Son from the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra from the position of Minister of Home Affairs, and Mr. Do Duc Duy from the position of Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

Tomorrow morning (October 25), the National Assembly will continue to hold a separate meeting on personnel work, including the content of proposing the National Assembly to approve the appointment of Deputy Prime Minister and a number of Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.
