An Giang - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the provincial martyrs' cemetery, visited and presented gifts to policy households in Chau Doc ward and Binh My commune.

On the afternoon of July 20, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the working delegation offered incense, offered flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the An Giang Province Martyrs' Cemetery and visited policy families and people with workers on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day on July 27.

At the An Giang Province Martyrs' Cemetery, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates offered incense, flowers to commemorate and express gratitude for the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.

In the name of the heroic martyrs, the delegates pledged to unite with one heart, be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; determined to work with the entire Party and the entire people to successfully carry out the cause of innovation, building and firmly defending the Fatherland of socialist Vietnam.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the working delegation also visited and presented gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Co (born in 1940, residing in Binh My commune), a family with meritorious services and housing support in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. The family of Mr. Huynh Van Anh (born in 1967, 81% disabled soldiers); Mr. Pham Phong Hai (born in 1952, 69% disabled soldiers); Pham Thanh Quang (born in 1944 is 21%), all 3 live in Chau Doc ward.

At the places visited, the Prime Minister kindly visited their health and family life. The Prime Minister hopes that Ms. Nguyen Thi Co will always promote the revolutionary family tradition, be an example for her children and clans, and actively participate in local work.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the Party, State and people always remember the merits of meritorious people, constantly strive to implement policies to repay gratitude, care for the material and spiritual life of policy families.

The Prime Minister hopes that war invalids and sick soldiers will continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", live happily, live well, become shining examples in the family and community, contribute to educating the younger generation, especially the children in the family, strive to study, practice and build their homeland to develop more and more.
