On August 8, the Government Office said that Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has signed Decision No. 256/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the election results of the Vice Chairman of Bac Giang People's Committee.
The Prime Minister approved the election of the Vice Chairman of Bac Giang People's Committee for the term 2021-2026 for Mr. Pham Van Thinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the People's Committee of Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee.
On January 24, 2025, the People's Council of Bac Giang province voted to vote for Vice Chairman of Bac Giang People's Committee for Mr. Pham Van Thinh, the percentage of votes reached 100% of the delegates present.
Mr. Pham Van Thinh was born in 1981, hometown of Lang Son commune, Yen Dung district (now Bac Giang city), Bac Giang province. Education level: National Economics University, Bachelor of Economics, Master of Economics; High level of political theory.
He was a member of the XV National Assembly, term 2021-2026, representative of the Provincial People's Council, XIX, term 2021-2026.
Before being elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Pham Van Thinh experienced working positions such as: Vice Chairman of Son Dong District People's Committee; Deputy Director of the Provincial Tax Department; Chairman of Hiep Hoa District People's Committee; Director of the Provincial Tax Department; Head of the People's Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
