Vietnamese and Chinese Prime Ministers witness the handover ceremony of 10 documents

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chinese Premier Li Qiang witnessed the handover ceremony of cooperation documents between the two countries.

According to the Government Newspaper, at noon on October 13, at the Government headquarters, right after the talks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang witnessed the handover ceremony of 10 important cooperation documents between the two countries.

Cooperation documents include:

1. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam and the National Development and Reform Committee of China on the technical plan for railway connection between Lao Cai station (Vietnam) and Hekou Bei station (China);

2. Minutes of the meeting between the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam and the Directorate of the National International Development Cooperation of China on the site survey to study the feasibility of the aid project to establish the Planning of the standard gauge railway lines Dong Dang - Hanoi and Mong Cai - Ha Long - Hai Phong;

3. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and the Directorate of the National International Development Cooperation of China on jointly promoting the project of repairing and maintaining the Vietnam - China Friendship Palace;

4. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and the Directorate of the National International Development Cooperation of China on strengthening cooperation in human resource development within the framework of the Global Development Initiative;

5. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Commerce of China on enhancing cooperation in building a sustainable agricultural supply chain;

6. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Commerce of China on the establishment of a Working Group to study the model of building a cross-border economic cooperation zone between Vietnam and China;

7. Action Plan between the Directorate of Vietnam Customs and the Directorate of China Customs on the mutual recognition agreement on the Priority Enterprise Program of Vietnam Customs and the Enterprise Credit Management Program of China Customs;

8. Memorandum of Cooperation between Vietnam News Agency and China Central Radio and Television;

9. Memorandum of Understanding on Comprehensive Cooperation between Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Peking University, China;

10. Memorandum of Understanding between the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS) and UnionPay International on implementing cross-border payment services via QR codes between Vietnam and China.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang's visit to Vietnam takes place at a time of special significance for bilateral relations, as the two countries look towards the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and right after important visits by senior leaders of both sides.

The visit is of great significance, continuing to develop the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries of Vietnam and China in depth, substance and comprehensiveness, meeting the aspirations and common interests of the people of the two countries, for peace, cooperation and development of the region and the world.
