On the afternoon of November 29, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the working delegation visited the people of Phu Huu village, Hoa Thinh commune - the locality that suffered the most damage in the recent historic flood.
Here, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directly listened to a report on the plan to build flood shelters and shared and encouraged people whose relatives died or whose houses were completely collapsed.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Hoa Thinh commune, the recent flood caused 25 deaths, 67 houses were completely collapsed, and many civil works were damaged. In the whole commune alone, 94 households lost their homes, and are temporarily or temporarily staying there.

In Phu Huu village, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and encouraged households whose houses collapsed and came to burn incense to commemorate those who died due to floods.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his deep condolences from General Secretary To Lam and Party and State leaders to the lost households.
At the same time, he affirmed that the Government is focusing on directing urgent solutions to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize people's lives.

Listening to the report on the plan to build flood shelters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the requirement to design according to the criteria of 3 hard: hard roof, hard floor, hard walls, while ensuring the electricity - water system for daily use.
In addition, he said that this is a place of long-term living, so we have to go to the wrong place, not letting people continue to suffer risks.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the forces of the Military Region 5 Command, militia and local authorities for their efforts to help people from the early days of the flood until overcoming the consequences.
Emphasizing the urgent task of ensuring accommodation, food, clean water, and necessities after floods, the Prime Minister requested local authorities to continue to support ensuring housing, food, and necessities, absolutely not letting people go hungry or cold.
In particular, the Prime Minister requested: Rebuild all 94 houses that were swept away before January 31, 2026. Complete repairs to severely damaged houses before December 31, 2025
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that these two milestones are very important for people to have a place to worship their ancestors during the Lunar New Year.
The Prime Minister called on people to promote the spirit of mutual love. Those who still have a house should help those who do not have a house to stay temporarily. In times of difficulty, we have to cover each other.
In addition, the Prime Minister requested the early restoration of transportation, irrigation, electricity, water, telecommunications infrastructure and support for people to restore production - especially agricultural production.
