General Secretary To Lam said that the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have gradually adjusted the organizational structure to achieve the goal of streamlining - compact - strong.
Currently, the Ministry of National Defense is reorganizing the Provincial Military Command corresponding to the adjustment of provincial-level administrative units; dissolving the District Military Command, establishing a regional defense command to ensure the maintenance of the country's military power.
After 3 reorganization since 2018, the People's Public Security force has been significantly streamlined, operating effectively and efficiently. Currently, the Ministry of Public Security does not organize district-level police, receiving some new tasks.
In addition to performing the task of ensuring political security and social order and safety, the Ministry of Public Security has made many contributions to the task of strategic consultation and socio-economic development, maintaining peace and safety for the lives of each citizen.
Focus on developing health care and health care for people
The General Secretary affirmed that in the coming time, continue to synchronously implement solutions to care for and improve the material and spiritual life of people, especially ethnic minorities, in remote areas, border areas, islands, old resistance base areas, strategic areas, areas with a large number of religious people;
