On the afternoon of April 16, the 4th P4G Summit was officially opened at the National Convention Center, Hanoi.

The opening ceremony of the Summit of the Partner Forum for Green growth and global goal 2030 (P4G) for the 4th time took place right after the official welcome ceremony and taking photos of the leaders.

General Secretary To Lam attended the opening ceremony of the Conference and expected policy messages at the opening ceremony.

Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the official welcoming ceremony, attended the opening speech.

It is expected that the opening ceremony of the P4G Summit also has important statements of the guest delegates, including Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, Deputy General Secretary of the United Nations Amina J.Mohammed and President of the World Resources Institute Ani Dasgupta.

The P4G summit with the theme "Sustainable green conversion, human -centered" was held in Hanoi from April 14 to 17. This is the first multilateral summit in the field of green growth, green conversion and sustainable development that Vietnam has hosted.

In an interview before the summit, the Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son pointed out: In the context of sustainable development and green conversion is an indispensable trend, a strategic choice of countries, this P4G summit is an opportunity for Vietnam Steady at national, regional and global levels.

"Through the organization of this conference, we want to convey to the international community the message of a determined Vietnam, efforts to change the growth model, promote fast, sustainable development, achievements, strong economic development potential as well as the unique cultural values ​​of the country, the hospitality, friendliness and strong bravery of the Vietnamese people," - Deputy Prime Minister.

The partner forum for green growth and global goals (P4G) was established in 2017 on the basis of the Danish government's initiative.

The focus of Cooperation of P4G is currently focusing on priority areas: reducing losses and wasting food; Smart agriculture adapts climate change; Sustainable water source; Renewable energy and non -emissions.

Vietnam joined P4G as one of the 7 P4G founding member countries on July 7, 2017. In September 2017, Vietnam attended the announcement ceremony of "P4G Forum" in New York as an official partner. In July 2018, Vietnam announced the establishment of the P4G National Forum.
