On the morning of November 12, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment sector (1945-2025) and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Attending the ceremony were General Secretary To Lam, along with more than 1,200 delegates representing central and local departments, ministries, branches, international organizations, enterprises, associations and generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole industry.
The event is considered an important socio-political milestone, demonstrating the 50-year journey of formation, development and contribution of the Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment sector, and is three strategic pillars in the country's sustainable development.
On this occasion, the Agriculture and Environment sector was also honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also launched an emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period with the motto "Tradition - Innovation - Development - Sustainability", calling on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, businesses and farmers nationwide to turn pride into concrete action, turn aspiration into a contribution force.
Within the framework of the celebration, the Exhibition on the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment sector was held, introducing historical milestones, scientific and technological achievements, and typical production models of large enterprises and associations across the country.
