This morning (September 9), General Secretary To Lam attended and chaired a meeting with veterans and youth volunteers participating in the resistance war against the US to save the country in Hanoi, according to VNA.
The event was held on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the complete Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Attending were the Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of Propaganda Department and Central Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Phan Van Giang - Minister of Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security; Hanoi Party Committee Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Nguyen Van should.
Earlier, also on the morning of April 9, the delegation of veterans and former youth volunteers who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
