According to the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tran Phu - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, was appointed to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Tan Phu District Party Committee.
At the same time, Mr. Le Tran Kien - Deputy Director of Department of Construction, was appointed to join the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of District Party Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Binh Thanh District Party Committee.
Immediately after that, the decisions of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee were also announced on the appointment of Mr. Le Tran Kien as Chairman of the Binh Thanh District People's Committee, replacing Mr. Dinh Khac Huy - who was transferred to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment at the end of last September.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Tran Phu was appointed as Chairman of Tan Phu District People's Committee, replacing Mr. Pham Minh Man - who was transferred to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction in June 2024.
At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, was also officially appointed as Director of the Department of Justice, replacing Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh who retired from October 1, 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai congratulated the agencies for completing their leadership teams and expressed his confidence in the appointed individuals.
Mr. Phan Van Mai hopes that the new Director of the Department of Justice, Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, who has a lot of experience in the industry and was a former National Assembly delegate, will continue to promote the important role of the Justice sector in the work of "Chief Legal Officer" of the city.
Mr. Phan Van Mai also expects that the two new Chairmen of the People's Committee of Binh Thanh District, Le Tran Kien, and Tan Phu District, Nguyen Tran Phu, with their leadership experience at the Departments, will apply their accumulated knowledge and experience to successfully complete their tasks in the locality, contributing to the development of Ho Chi Minh City.
