Ho Chi Minh City has 3 more Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee

HCMC - Mr. Tran Van Bay, Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh and Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

On the morning of November 14, at the 5th session (special session), the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council conducted the process of dismissal and election of additional leadership positions of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and People's Committee.

With a majority of votes in favor, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council elected Mr. Tran Van Bay - Chief Inspector of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance and Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

Mr. Tran Van Bay, born in 1971, from Dong Nai province, has a master's degree in law and a senior political theory. He has worked for many years at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law as a lecturer, Secretary of the School Youth Union, and Deputy Head of the Training Department. After that, he held the positions of: Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, Chairman of District 9 People's Committee (old), Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City (now the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City), Chief Inspector of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh, born in 1972, from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (now Ho Chi Minh City), has a bachelor's degree in law and a high level of political theory. He has held many positions in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province before, such as: Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh, born in 1980, from Thua Thien - Hue province (now Hue city), has a bachelor's degree in law, a master's degree in road construction, and a high level of political theory.

Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh has previously held positions in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province such as: Secretary of the Vung Tau City Party Committee, Chairman of the Chau Duc District People's Committee, Secretary of the Chau Duc District Party Committee; Director of the Traffic Project Management Board; Deputy Director of the Department of Transport of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council also agreed to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Van Tho from the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Currently, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has 10 members, including Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and 9 Vice Chairmen: Nguyen Loc Ha, Nguyen Van Dung, Bui Xuan Cuong, Bui Minh Thanh, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Tran Van Bay, Nguyen Cong Vinh, Hoang Nguyen Dinh and Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy.
