The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also transferred Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuong - Vice Chairman of the Xuan Son Commune People's Committee to work at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance. At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong also presented the decision to appoint Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center (before the merger), to hold the position of Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, for a term of 5 years.
Three Deputy Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center (before the merger) including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoa, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung and Mr. Nguyen Tran Phu Thinh were also appointed to the position of Deputy Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, for a term of 5 years.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that after the City deployed the two-level government model, the arrangement and improvement of the entire apparatus is an urgent requirement to build a team of qualified and brave cadres, contributing to advising, leading and performing well the assigned tasks.
In particular, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center is considered an important unit in the operation, management and implementation of the city's digital transformation tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong believes that with the newly strengthened apparatus, the Center will continue to promote its focal role, ensuring the smooth operation of the two-level government model from the City to the grassroots, contributing to promoting the effectiveness of state management and better serving the people.
For the cadres transferred and appointed to new positions, the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee hopes that each individual will continue to promote their capacity and experience, proactively coordinate with the unit's leadership to excellently complete the tasks in 2025 and the 2026 - 2030 period.
