Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presented the appointment decision and presented flowers to congratulate the new Deputy Head of the Government Office.

On the morning of March 7, in Hanoi, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presented the decision to appoint Mr. Pham Manh Cuong as Deputy Head of the Government Office.

On March 4, 2025, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 515/QD-TTg appointing Mr. Pham Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Agriculture, Government Office - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Government Office.

Handing over the appointment decision, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this is a great honor for Mr. Pham Manh Cuong personally and is a common joy of the Government Office to promptly improve and add more leaders.

The Government Office for this term must undertake a huge amount of work. In the past time, in the context of a shortage of personnel, the collective leadership of the Government Office, together with all cadres and civil servants of the Government Office, did not manage day and night, and tried their best to perform well the functions and tasks of the general staff agency, assisting the Government and the Prime Minister.

Up to now, the Government Office has been fully completed with 5 Deputy Heads according to regulations.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister hopes that Mr. Pham Manh Cuong in his new position will continue to promote his capacity, experience, strive, uphold his sense of responsibility, and coordinate work more closely.

At the same time, spend more time on in-depth research, promptly advise on perfecting institutions, planning mechanisms, policies, planning and organizing the implementation of tasks and solutions to effectively implement strategic breakthroughs, especially in the assigned work area.

Mr. Pham Manh Cuong was born in 1971, hometown: Nam Truc, Nam Dinh. He has a PhD in agricultural science (at the University of Goettingen, Federal Republic of Germany), a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management (at the Asian Academy of Technology), and a Bachelor's degree in General Forestry (at the Vietnam Forestry University).

The current leaders of the Government Office include Minister, Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son and Deputy Heads: Mr. Nguyen Sy Hiep, Ms. Mai Thi Thu Van, Mr. Do Ngoc Huynh, Mr. Trinh Manh Linh and Mr. Pham Manh Cuong.
