On April 11, the working delegation of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Comrade Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, and Central organizations visited and wished the traditional New Year of Chol Chnam Thmay in 2025 in Tra Vinh province.
The delegation visited and presented 50 gifts, each worth VND1,300,000, to individuals, poor Khmer households and policy families in the province.
Speaking here, Comrade Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations, highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity of the Khmer people in Tra Vinh in building the great national unity bloc. He also emphasized the community's active contribution to the local economic development.
In addition, the affection between the villagers and hamlets is increasingly strong, contributing to the development of Tra Vinh province.
In this atmosphere, the working delegation of the Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations acknowledged and congratulated the local Khmer people.
Mr. Tran Thang expressed his hope that the Khmer people will continue to promote good traditions, implement local policies well, together support economic development, ensure security and order, create a safe environment and a prosperous life.
After presenting gifts at the People's Committee of Ward 9, the delegation visited and wished a happy New Year to the Association of Patriotic Education and Training of Tra Vinh province at Kom Pong Pagoda (Ward 1, Tra Vinh City).
