On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 92/2025/UBTVQH15 adjusting the 2025 Legislative Program.
The Resolution adds to the 2025 legislative Program to be submitted to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 10th Session (October 2025) for draft Law on Tax Administration (amended); draft Law on Personal Income Tax (amended); draft Law on State Secrets Protection (amended), implemented in shortened order and procedures; draft Law on Civil Servants (amended), implemented in shortened order and procedures.
Also according to the resolution, the submitting agency and the agency in charge of reviewing, participating in reviewing and the progress of submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments on the draft laws adjusted in the 2025 legislative Program.
The Law on Tax Administration (amended) and the Law on Personal Income Tax (amended) submitted by the Government are the Economic and Financial Committee as the agency in charge of the review. The Ethnic Council and other Committees of the National Assembly also participated in the review.
Meanwhile, the Law on Civil Servants (amended) was submitted by the Government but the Law and Justice Committee was the examining agency.
The Government will also submit the Law on State Secrets Protection (amended) and the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee will be the agency conducting the review.
This Resolution takes effect from August 1, 2025.
