The Ministry of Public Security organizes a public consultation on the consideration of commendation for a Lieutenant General of Public Security.

Pursuant to Article 46 of Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation, the Ministry of Public Security organizes a public consultation on the consideration of commendation for the following individuals:

Awarded the First Class Fatherland Protection Medal to Lieutenant General Le Minh Hung - former Director, Department of Police for Prison Management, Compulsory Education Facilities, and reformatory Schools, Ministry of Public Security.

People's opinions on the consideration of commendation for the above individual should be sent to the mailbox: hoidapphapluat@mps.gov.vn within 10 days from the date of posting.

Lieutenant General Le Minh Hung was born in 1963, from Ha Tinh. During his working career, Lieutenant General Le Minh Hung held many different positions.

He has held the position of Deputy Director General of the General Department of Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support Police (General Department VIII); Department of Police for Prison Management, Compulsory Education Facilities, and reform schools, Ministry of Public Security (in 2018, at that time he held the rank of Major General).

In August 2024, Lieutenant General Le Minh Hung received a decision from the Minister of Public Security on retirement.
