
On July 20, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025), comrade Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee - and the Central working delegation visited Nghe An province to offer flowers and incense at many red addresses in the province.
The working group included leaders of the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Party Office, and the Communist Magazine. Accompanying him were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committees of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.
At the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Hong Phong (Hung Nguyen Nam Commune), comrade Le Minh Hung and the delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense in memory, expressing their deep gratitude for the great contributions and contributions of comrade Le Hong Phong - an outstanding leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, a loyal international communist soldier, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh and an outstanding son of Nghe An.

The memorial area has a total area of over 3.2 hectares, including two main complexes: a memorial house and an exhibition space on life, revolutionary activities and original relics, where works associated with the childhood and family of comrade Le Hong Phong are preserved.
His revolutionary life is a bright symbol of absolute loyalty to revolutionary ideals, iron will and indomitable spirit before the enemy. Despite being tortured and imprisoned severely in the Imperial prison, he remained loyal to the communist air and regime, continuing to lead the revolutionary movement in prison until his sacrifice in Con Dao on September 6, 1942.

Then, comrade Le Minh Hung and the working group went to offer incense at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery (Anh Son commune). This is the resting place of nearly 11,000 Vietnamese volunteer martyrs and experts who sacrificed their lives on the battlefield of Laos. The cemetery is considered a sacred symbol of the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, the unity of the two peoples.
In front of the memorial site with the words "Fatherland's gratitude", comrade Le Minh Hung and leaders of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces called on bells, offered flowers, offered incense and respectfully bowed to commemorate and express gratitude to the outstanding children of the Fatherland who died for their independence, freedom and noble international obligations.

After the ceremony, delegates went to each grave to burn incense and pray for the martyrs to rest in their motherland.
On this occasion, the Central working delegation also presented the "Thanks and Rewards" Fund to Nghe An province with 300 million VND to support the work of caring for and expressing gratitude to people with meritorious services.
Leaving the Vietnam - Laos cemetery, the working group went to offer incense at the Truong Bon Historical Site - the "fire zone" of the past on the strategic support line in the resistance war against the US. Comrade Le Minh Hung offered flowers and incense at the collective tomb of 13 young volunteers of Company 317, Team 65, Nghe An Province Youth Volunteer Army - those who heroically sacrificed their lives while protecting the main road.

The incense sticks and white flowers are respectfully placed on the collective grave as a deep gratitude, reminding today's and future generations of the noble sacrifice of you who have devoted your entire youth to the Fatherland.
At the end of the journey of gratitude, the delegation went to the Memorial House of 1,240 martyrs who sacrificed their lives in Truong Bon, offering incense and commemorating in a solemn and profound atmosphere.
The incense offering and gratitude in Nghe An by the Head of the Central Organizing Committee and the working delegation is a practical action, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", arousing national pride, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and the spirit of dedication among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.
