In recent days, unusual rains and floods, especially in the areas of provinces and cities: Da Nang, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, have caused very heavy damage to people and property.
Leaders of the Party, State and Government regularly closely monitor the situation, strongly direct ministries, branches and localities to promptly implement plans to prevent and respond to natural disasters and promptly be present in localities that are severely damaged to inspect and direct the work of overcoming, providing relief, and supporting the stabilization of people's lives.

According to the report of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, from November 22 to the morning of November 23, 2025, in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, the rain will basically end, with a few stations in Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa still having 40-80mm of rain.
Floods on rivers have receded. Currently, Dak Lak province is still flooded in 4 communes and wards (Hoa Xuan, Dong Hoa, Hoa Thinh, Hoa My), Khanh Hoa is also flooded with 87 households in Dien Dien and Hoa Tri communes; Lam Dong is also flooded with 127 households in Nam Da and Cat Tien communes.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of November 25, heavy rain will gradually decrease.
Regarding damage, according to updated data, floods have left 102 people dead or missing, 1,154 houses damaged, at the peak 186,000 houses were flooded; over 80,000 hectares of rice and crops were damaged; over 3.2 cattle and poultry died or were swept away...
The initial preliminary damage is estimated at VND9,035 billion (Quang Ngai VND650 billion, Gia Lai VND1,000 billion, Dak Lak VND5,330 billion, Khanh Hoa VND1,000 billion, Lam Dong VND1,055 billion).
The Ministry of National Defense has directed and mobilized 44,668 officers and soldiers and 2,231 vehicles; transported and distributed 86.5 tons of goods, civil newspapers, water filtration medicine, 3,000 boxes of instant noodles; mobilized 3 helicopters to transport relief goods to people in flooded areas.
The police force mobilized 98,509 officers, soldiers and forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, 13,566 vehicles to respond to and overcome the consequences of floods.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has mobilized international organizations to support food such as sausages, cookies, milk and bottled drinking water to support people in flooded areas in Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces; and supported 1,500 boxes of instant noodles for Dak Lak.
The Ministry of Finance has issued 4,000 tons of rice to Gia Lai and Khanh Hoa provinces (2,000 tons of rice per province).
The Ministry of Health has mobilized and distributed 6 tons of chemicals and 150,000 water-filtered disinfectants; 3,000 bags of essential household medicine for flooded areas.
