On the afternoon of April 14, the ceremony to welcome the General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to visit the state level to Vietnam was held solemnly at the Presidential Palace.

The convoy carrying General Secretary, Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Chinese High -ranking delegation entered the Presidential Palace at about 16h. General Secretary To Lam warmly welcomed the Chinese leader at the stop.

During the welcoming ceremony, General Secretary To Lam invited General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to move on the red carpet towards the honorary podium. Army nominated Quoc Thieu Vietnam and China.

From the Imperial City Thang Long, 21 series of welcome cannons rang out. This is the ritual to welcome the most solemn state of state. The image of the cannon from Hoang Thanh Thang Long was directly transmitted to the celebration at the Presidential Palace through two large LED screens.

After that, General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary, President Xi Jinping left the honorary podium, approved the honorary team of the Vietnam People's Army.

Next, the two leaders introduced the senior delegation of the two countries to attend the ceremony and returned to the honor podium, witnessing the welcome parade.

Immediately after the welcoming ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary, Chinese President Xi Jinping walked from the Presidential Palace to the Party Central Committee's headquarters to meet.

Outside the Presidential Palace, a large number of people holding the flag, and warmly welcomed two leaders.

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping visited the state level to Vietnam for two days 14-15.4, at the invitation of General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong.

At noon 14.4, President Luong Cuong went to Noi Bai International Airport to welcome the General Secretary, President of China Xi Jinping and the Chinese High -Level Delegation.

Welcoming General Secretary, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese delegation at the airport were comrades: Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Politburo, Standing Secretary; Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Office; Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee; Nguyen Minh Vu, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Pham Thanh Binh, Vietnamese Ambassador to China.

This is the 4th state visit by comrade Xi Jinping to Vietnam as General Secretary, President of China; It is even more special when this is the second visit of Chinese leader to Vietnam in the same term.

The visit took place in the context of 2025 was a special year, the 75th anniversary of the two countries establishing diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - 18.1.2025).

This visit contributes to promote and deepen the framework of the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between Vietnam and China, the community shared the future of Vietnam and China with strategic significance, bringing the bilateral relations to a new level.
