On April 16, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong and Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had meetings with Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul on the occasion of an official visit to Vietnam and attending the 4th Summit of the Partnership Forum for Green Growth and Global Goals (P4G) from 15.17.4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam informed.
At the meeting, President Luong Cuong highly appreciated Minister Cho Tae-yul for his official visit to Vietnam in conjunction with attending the P4G Conference held in Vietnam; and thanked Korea as a founding member for actively supporting Vietnam in successfully organizing the first multilateral summit on green growth.
President Luong Cuong suggested that Korea share experiences in developing the entertainment industry; increase labor receipt targets and expand the industry to receive Vietnamese workers in the coming time; strengthen cooperation and promote people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, thereby contributing to creating a bond with more than 200,000 overseas Vietnamese living, studying and working in each country; at the same time, continue to care about protecting the legitimate rights of citizens in the host country, helping them stabilize their long-term lives in Korea.
Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul emphasized that Korea always considers Vietnam a key partner in implementing foreign policies in the region; hopes to work with Vietnam to further promote the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the coming time in all fields of politics, economy, culture, education, science and technology; and hopes that Vietnam will continue to create conditions for Korean businesses and citizens living, studying and working in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the visit of Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul will contribute to promoting the substantial development of the Vietnam - Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the Government of Vietnam will continue to work closely with the new Korean government in the near future. Suggest that Korea opened the market further for Vietnamese goods to reduce trade deficit; promote technology transfer, especially core technology and source technology for Vietnam; support Vietnam to train high quality human resources and concessional loans for Vietnam to implement projects related to the field of strategic infrastructure construction, including the railway project connecting Vietnam - Laos; suggest that Korea cooperates and supports Vietnam to develop cultural and entertainment industry; affirming always paying attention to solving difficulties and obstacles that Korean businesses encounter in the process of investment in Vietnam.
Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul expressed his high agreement with the cooperation orientations that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has directly directed; said that he will continue to promote relevant ministries, branches and agencies of Korea to effectively implement high-level agreements, including the Action Program for the implementation of the Vietnam - Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
On behalf of the Korean Government, Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yul hopes that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese Government will continue to pay attention to supporting the Korean community in Vietnam as well as regularly organizing direct dialogues with Korean enterprises to listen to and resolve existing difficulties so that Korean enterprises can confidently invest long-term in Vietnam.
