Promoting cooperation mechanism between state - school - business

Vietnam Innovation Day 2024 marks the strong transformation journey of the National Innovation Center (NIC) over the past 5 years. NIC has been creating a favorable environment for businesses, startups and researchers to develop and apply advanced technologies. At the same time, it strongly promotes the role of connecting and promoting the innovation ecosystem, especially the AI and semiconductor ecosystem as well as operating and developing the Vietnam Innovation Network.

Not only that, NIC actively promotes a substantive cooperation mechanism between the state - schools - businesses, in which the state plays a central role, connecting resources, building plans and common development strategies, supporting innovative businesses, especially startups in the development stages.

To develop high-quality human resources, NIC implements many diverse programs, including scholarships, training programs, and networking events with the participation of many domestic and international partners, especially the two semiconductor and AI industries according to the Government's policy.

NIC's efforts have partly helped Vietnam successfully put its name on the technology map when it continuously rose in the global innovation index and had three top indexes in the world: High-tech import index, high-tech export index and creative goods export index.

Innovate Viet Nam 2024, hosted by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, promises to ignite the future of innovation in Vietnam.
