The Ministry of National Defense is seeking opinions from the people and officers and soldiers of the groups that have been proposed to be awarded Medals by Party committees, commanders of agencies and focal units under the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.
This is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Clause 2, Article 46 of Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation.
Accordingly, there are 4 groups proposed to be awarded the Ho Chi Minh Medal including: Vietnam Militia and Self-Defense Force; General Department II; Military Region 5; Navy.
Along with that, the Military Command of Quang Nam province and Military Region 5 were proposed to award the First Class Military Exploit Medal.
The deadline for comments is December 9, 2024. Comments can be sent to the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal via email: info@mod.gov.vn.
The Ho Chi Minh Medal is one of the medals awarded by the State to individuals or collectives that meet the criteria specified in Article 35 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022.
