Meeting the development needs of the burden of Hung Yen, Ninh Binh provinces and surrounding areas. Therefore, the requirement not to let any incidents happen during operation is always a top priority.

After nearly 7 years of operation (since 2017), through periodic inspection, the composite isolation bars on the line have shown signs of aging, posing a potential risk of insecurity. If there is an incident of power outage at traffic crossings or residential areas, the consequences will be very serious, directly affecting the safety of people, vehicles and the electrical system in the area.
In that situation, Ninh Binh Power Transmission Team has proactively proposed and implemented a solution to replace all existing composite insulation with traditional glass electricity, ensuring long-term safety for the project and the intersections below.
According to the approved plan, the construction volume includes replacing 1,079 chains/63 isolation locations, including 57 DLD.2.70 above-ground support chains. To shorten the power outage time, Power Transmission Company 1 mobilized more than 200 officers and employees from the Power Transmission Teams: Hanoi, Northwest 2, Northeast 2, Thanh Hoa, Hoa Binh to coordinate with the " homeowner" Ninh Binh with over 50 people to directly participate in the construction.

Construction time: 6 consecutive days, including partial power outages according to plan (morning cut - afternoon power outage). Transport volume: more than 140 tons of materials and equipment and 40 km of manual travel on the terrain of the plains and coastal rivers.
Construction conditions are particularly harsh - affected by storm No. 12, the Northeast monsoon, the weather changes continuously, many sections cross the river, cross the low-voltage line without cutting off electricity, forcing the construction force to strictly comply with technical and safety procedures.
The work of contact care, palang inspection, DCTC testing, and occupational safety and health allocation has been seriously implemented in accordance with the EVNNPT process.

At exactly 6:00 p.m. on October 26, 2025, the project completed the entire volume as planned, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment, returning the line to stable operation.
The success of the project not only demonstrates the technical level and professional coordination ability between units in PTC1, but is also a vivid demonstration of the spirit of "Supporting - Dedicating - Professional - Efficient" - the core values that make up the cultural identity of Power Transmitter 1.
