Through 3 chapters: Chapter I - Happy Independence Day; Chapter II - The South in people's hearts; Chapter III - Vietnam, let's move forward, the art program "Ba Dinh Sunshine" 2024 brings the audience back to those heroic days; paying tribute to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh as well as generations of Vietnamese people who heroically fell to protect the independence, freedom of the nation, and the happiness of the people.
Through the years of history of building and defending the country, the Vietnamese people have proven to the world their strong, enduring and everlasting vitality. Thanks to a common will and determination, since the fall of independence in 1945, Vietnam's position in the international arena has made great strides with many great achievements. The journey of building, protecting, developing and integrating the country will be reflected in the report "Vietnam's integration and development" inserted in the middle of the program.
The third “Nang Ba Dinh” art program is directed by Dr. People’s Artist Quoc Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Vietnam National Academy of Music. In particular, this year’s program brings together many “music stars” from both the North and the South, such as: People’s Artist Thanh Ngan, Meritorious Artist Van Khanh, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singers Trong Tan, Anh Tho, Tung Duong, etc.
In the program, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan shared: I have participated in many art programs on the occasion of the country's major holidays, and have performed many compositions about Uncle Ho such as Looking at the tree and remembering him, Uncle Ho, a boundless love, Singing in the Pac Bo forest, Listening to Nghe Tinh folk songs in the middle of Moscow... This time, I performed the song Ho Chi Minh, the most beautiful name of him. This work is usually sung by a male singer, but this year the organizers chose Tan Nhan to perform.
The first time I performed this song, I felt a very new feeling. There is a lot of heroic spirit in this song, however, through Tan Nhan's voice, it will be softer. I hope the audience will welcome the freshness of a female singer with a gentle way of conveying, but the love for Uncle Ho is not diminished, so that more young audiences will love and approach mainstream music in general and songs written about Uncle Ho in particular.
Honored to participate in the art program " Ba Dinh Sunshine " organized by the People's Representative Newspaper, I will try to perform in a way that creates emotional connection between the works, so that the audience can fully feel the unity and artistry of a top-notch music program.
Through immortal songs, sometimes heroic, sometimes profound, the Organizing Committee hopes to arouse national pride, love for homeland and country, and belief in a strong future development of the Fatherland Vietnam.
