In order to promote the strength of national solidarity and increase propaganda on protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, the Vietnam Journalists Association will coordinate with a number of related units to organize the Art Program "Sacredness of the sea and islands of Vietnam".
The program will take place on November 18, 2025 at Ho Guom Theater. The program thanked the support of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (AgriBank), Vietnam Oil Corporation - JSC (PVOIL).

The program is considered one of the activities with profound political and social significance, contributing to raising awareness of all classes of people about the position, role, potential and strengths of Vietnam's seas and islands in the process of building and defending the Fatherland. The seas and islands are not only a space for survival and socio-economic development, but also a sacred sky and sea area associated with national sovereignty, with the history of fighting to build and defend the country of the nation.
Through performing arts, images, music and elaborately staged stories, The Sacred Sea and Islands of Vietnam hopes to arouse the love of homeland and national pride in every Vietnamese person at home and abroad. The program aims to convey the message of solidarity, resilience and aspiration to preserve sacred sovereignty on remote islands.
One of the important highlights of the program is the activity of deep gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for the sea and islands of the Fatherland. Their dedication has become an immortal symbol, fostering patriotism, adding confidence to today's and future generations. The program is also an opportunity to send encouragement to the soldiers of the Navy, Coast Guard, Fisheries Control, and Border Guard who are day and night guarding the sea and sky of the Fatherland amidst the monsters of storms.
In addition to the frontline force, the program pays special respect to fishermen - those who are considered "lifelines" at sea. With a persistent spirit of adhering to the sea, they both contribute to the development of the marine economy and affirm national sovereignty on each journey.
The art program "Sacred Vietnamese Sea and Islands" is not only a cultural activity but also a spiritual bridge between the mainland and the sea and islands. This is an opportunity for people across the country to turn to the beloved seas and islands, giving strength to the forces that are day and night protecting sovereignty and arousing the aspiration to join hands to build and develop the country from the sea.
The program is expected to attract the attention of many cadres, soldiers, artists, people and the overseas Vietnamese community. This will be a meaningful event that contributes to strongly spreading the spirit of patriotism and citizens' responsibility towards the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
