With the position, role and responsibility of one of the leading banks in the private banking system, SHB will actively cooperate and coordinate with TMU in sharing experience and skills in the field of finance, banking expertise, and connecting training with practice to improve the quality of young human resources.
SHB and TMU will also coordinate to design training programs and organize training for SHB's staff to foster and create opportunities for employees to learn and improve their knowledge.
In particular, SHB will have a preferential recruitment policy for excellent students of TMU, increasing career opportunities for young people; creating conditions for students to visit and intern at SHB units to accumulate experience and have practical career experiences.
In addition to training and human resource development activities, SHB will be a reliable partner providing appropriate financial solutions, developing specialized policies so that TMU's staff, employees and students can access preferential financial resources as well as experience SHB's modern and quality products and services.
Through the strategic partnership, SHB and TMU will have many opportunities to coordinate research, share and apply scientific and technological achievements in the fields of banking and finance, to better meet market requirements in the digital age.
Speaking at the event, SHB Deputy General Director, Mr. Do Duc Hai, highly appreciated TMU’s history, reputation and achievements. The University of Commerce is one of the training schools with a long history.
Over 64 years of establishment and development, the school has trained and provided society with tens of thousands of bachelors of economics, thousands of masters and doctors of economics; and trained many managers for the trade, finance, banking and other sectors.
SHB Deputy General Director believes that the cooperative relationship between SHB and TMU not only brings benefits to both parties but also contributes to improving the quality of human resources for Vietnam, contributing to the overall development of the country in the new era.
Sharing at the signing ceremony, Vice Principal of the University of Commerce, Mr. Nguyen Duc Nhuan said that cooperation with businesses is a very important factor to help the school continue its mission of training high-quality human resources, with solid professional qualifications, entrepreneurial and innovation capabilities, and strengthening.

Also within the framework of the signing ceremony, SHB donated 500 million VND to the University of Commerce, expected to be distributed over 5 years. This amount will be used to award scholarships to excellent students and poor students who overcome difficulties of TMU during the school years.
Throughout more than three decades of construction and development, SHB has always paid attention to training and developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources.
Therefore, in recent years, SHB has strengthened cooperation with universities and colleges across the country such as: Hanoi National University, Hue University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Thai Binh University, National Economics University, Banking Academy, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City... to contribute to promoting financial education, nurturing the young generation, and improving the quality of education.
At the same time, the Bank also implemented many programs to support school construction and equipment sponsorship to help students have better learning conditions. Most recently, SHB sponsored more than 12.5 billion VND to build 2 schools in Dien Bien province: Sin Chai Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and Phinh Giang Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
