On the evening of June 6, THE SELECTED #01 - An Immersive Culinary Experience officially took place at Thu Thiem Riverstage, gathering 199 guests to participate in a space designed specifically for an experience journey lasting more than 4 hours. The fine dining event developed by Van Phu is exclusively for customers on the journey to introduce the Vlasta Premier - Phu Thuan project.
Right from the moment of entering the event area, guests were led by a series of artistic installations, visual exhibitions and questions appearing throughout the program: "In the myriad moments of life, which moment is priceless?". That question becomes the string connecting the entire emotional journey.
The "Cam - Ky - Thi - Hoa" journey takes guests through emotional slices.
Opening the "Holding" chapter, the segment "Cosmic Sound" takes the audience on an emotional journey with the image of a dancer next to a globe of light and a butterfly drone appearing in the middle of the auditorium, symbolizing the birth of a new form.
Continuing in the "Special" chapter, examples appear throughout the "Soi chiếu" and "Phản chiếu" performances as a metaphor for the journey of looking back at oneself and growing up. In the "Thi" chapter, the emotional flow is led to connection through the poetry reading section composed by journalist and poet Nam Thi himself, telling a story about family affection and solid values in life.
Continuing the emotional flow, the musical "Where We Belong" is staged in Broadway style with the participation of 15 dancers. Through the language of contemporary dance and stage art, the journey of life from youth, love, marriage to moments of family reunion are repeatedly recreated.
Stepping into the final chapter "Drawing", the program depicts a complete life cycle, from the first steps to looking back at the past journey. The emotional flow continues to be extended by a live sand painting performance, continuous moving strokes to create images of homes, families and sustainable values over time.
Rapper Den, GiGi Huong Giang became the highlight of the show, completing their emotional journey at THE SELECTED #01
Accompanying the emotional journey of the program are performances from rapper Den and GiGi Huong Giang. In which, GiGi Huong Giang appeared in many important chapters of the show, from inner moments in "Soi chiếu" to the collaboration with sand painting artists in the "Họa" chapter. Her emotional and powerful voice became a connecting thread throughout the program.
Parallel to the art programs is the menu from Chef Long Cuong, specifically designed for the show night with 8 dishes, appearing in turn according to each emotional level of the program. Each dish is served at the right time, creating a natural rhythm between enjoying cuisine and experiencing art.
Especially, after the last dessert, the stage suddenly opened for the secret performance that was kept secret until the last minute, which was the appearance of Den.
The male rapper brought three songs "Bringing Money Home for Mother", "Home Taste" and "Big Thing". Familiar rap lines rang out like a perfect closing for the 15-minute emotional journey that the audience had just experienced.
At the end of the program, the question appearing in the opening part was once again shown throughout the auditorium. Each guest received a souvenir frame to preserve their own answers about the "valuable moment" in life.
As the first chapter in the THE SELECTED experience series, the event is developed by Van Phu for customers of the Vlasta Premier - Phu Thuan project. Through art, cuisine and emotional stories, the program reflects the spirit of life that the project aims for: promoting deep connections, sustainable values and memorable moments on each person's journey.
After more than 4 hours, THE SELECTED #01 left an aftertaste like a multi-sensory play perceived by sight, hearing, taste and emotion. The event is both an experiential journey and Van Phu's way of telling the story of the Vlasta Premier - Phu Thuan project development philosophy. There, each detail is selected and intentionally arranged to create a balanced, private and valuable rhythm of life. Like THE SELECTED's journey, the project aims to create connections and belonging feelings - the factors that make up the long-term value of a living space.
