At the Ceremony to Announce Products and Services that Achieved the Vietnam National Brand in 2024 with the theme "Entering the Green Era" held in Hanoi on November 4, 2024, leading Vietnamese banks such as Vietcombank, VietinBank, BIDV, Agribank, HDBank... were honored as National Brands. These are pioneering banks, leading the financial market and are making great contributions to economic development, while promoting Vietnam's image in the international arena with prestigious and quality brands.
Vietnam National Brand, a prestigious trade promotion program chaired by the Government, is an important bridge for the world to know Vietnam as a reliable destination for high-quality products and services. The fact that top banks such as Vietcombank, VietinBank, BIDV, Agribank and HDBank received the National Brand title is not only a recognition of prestige in the financial system but also affirms international reach, enhancing investment attraction in the Vietnamese market from domestic and foreign investors.
The representative of the Organizing Committee emphasized: "The presence of joint stock commercial banks such as HDBank in the list of National brands demonstrates recognition of the continuous efforts and affirmation of the leading position in modern retail development, strong financial capacity, and sustainable development".
In 2024, HDBank will continue to pursue a green and sustainable development strategy, continuously integrating digital technology to serve retail customers and small businesses in developing rural and urban areas. HDBank's business results are also outstanding with pre-tax profit in the first 9 months of the year reaching VND 12,655 billion, ROE and ROA indicators among the industry's leading groups, reflecting sustainable financial strength and effective risk management capacity. The Bank also pioneered the establishment of an ESG Committee to monitor the implementation of sustainable initiatives, and issued a sustainable development report to raise awareness of ESG in the Vietnamese business community.
Along with its business achievements, HDBank also actively participates in social programs with a preferential credit package of VND 12,000 billion to support economic recovery after the storm, and contributes VND 80 billion to the temporary housing elimination program launched by the Prime Minister.
As the 9th year of the Vietnam National Brand program, the honored enterprises have undergone a rigorous screening process from more than 1,000 domestic enterprises.
