According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the two sides will coordinate to study strategic cooperation opportunities in Telangana state on a total area of about 2,500 hectares, including smart cities, manufacturing, healthcare, education, tourism, renewable energy, charging station infrastructure and green taxi services.
Specifically, in the field of green transportation, Vingroup proposed to deploy the first large-scale SM Green electric taxi model in India, combined with a smart mobility service platform. The group will also study opportunities to participate in electric vehicle production in the future.
In the field of urban development, Vingroup aims to build a 1,080-hectare smart metropolis, providing accommodation for about 200,000 residents. The project is expected to create 10,000 jobs, including low-rise and high-rise buildings and an international-class "all-in-one" utility system.
In the field of social infrastructure, Vingroup proposed developing an essential construction system on a land fund of about 70 hectares, including Vinschool inter-level school, Vinmec international general hospital, and V-Green charging station network.
In the field of tourism - entertainment, through VinWonders, the Group wants to build a complex of theme parks, 6 hectares of zoo and semi-wildlife reserve (safari) on an area of about 350 hectares, in order to develop Telangana's tourism infrastructure and create more local jobs.
In the field of renewable energy, Vinenergo proposes to invest in a 500 MW solar power project on an area of about 485 hectares, providing a stable green power source for urban areas, industrial parks and the electrified transport ecosystem.

In addition to the above items, Vingroup also proposed to participate in developing strategic connectivity infrastructure, enhancing regional linkages and supporting the expansion of urban space.
On the government side, Telangana is committed to supporting the search and arrangement of suitable land funds for each project; coordinating overall planning, handling procedures; and mobilizing relevant agencies to prepare connecting infrastructure. The State also considers applying incentives according to current policies and accompanying Vingroup to ensure progress and implementation efficiency.
This MOU is considered an important foundation for Vingroup to realize large-scale projects in India, while enhancing the mark of Vietnamese enterprises in the international market. The cooperation also contributes to promoting Vietnam - India economic relations and opening up opportunities for deeper connections between the business communities of the two countries.
