The latest Kitco News weekly gold survey shows that last week's bearish sentiment among industry experts "has completely evaporated."
This week, 18 analysts participated in the Kitco News gold survey. Sixteen analysts see gold prices rising next week, while two see prices moving sideways. No analysts see gold falling next week.
In the longer term, analysts at BMI (a unit of Fitch Solutions) told The Economic Times that investors need to prepare for significant downside risks in 2025.
BMI believes that gold has started to decline since Donald Trump was elected US President and currently, the recovery of the precious metal is not strong.
Contrary to BMI's forecast, Goldman Sachs - a global financial group, believes that gold prices will increase to $3,000/ounce in 2025 due to strong buying demand from central banks and interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve (FED).
This figure is equivalent to the domestic gold price of about more than 93 million VND/tael.
