At a silver business store on Cau Giay street, Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Xuan Phuong ward, Hanoi) shared: "I want to buy metals as savings, but gold is difficult to buy, so I switched to silver. But now silver is also difficult to own".
Mr. Tuan said that the increased demand for silver makes buyers have to queue to wait for their turn to transact. Depending on the time, stores apply different selling policies, sometimes without limiting the quantity, but there are also times when they only sell a maximum of a few kg of silver per customer.
However, customers who order silver today need to pay 100% of the value on the invoice and have to wait until April 2026 to receive the goods," Mr. Tuan said.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Chi (Nghia Do ward, Hanoi) said that she had come to buy many times but had to leave empty-handed because the store announced it was out of stock. Today, although the number of customers is still quite large, she arrived early so she could buy.
