At a silver shop on Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hanoi, Ms. Do Thi Lan (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi) shared: "Currently, if you want to buy silver, you have to wait in line, but the waiting time is not as long as buying gold".

Ms. Lan said that the store does not limit the amount of silver sold, but customers cannot receive the goods immediately due to limited supply.

"If customers order silver today, they need to pay 100% of the value on the bill and have to wait until mid-February 2026 to receive the goods" - Ms. Lan said.

Similarly, Mr. Mai The Tung (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi) said that in November, he bought 15 taels of silver and had to wait until next year to receive the goods. Now he continues to return to buy more.

"On November 15, I bought 15 taels of silver, the store scheduled to buy them on March 17, 2026 due to overloaded orders. Today, I continued to queue up to order another 1kg of silver, the store announced that it would return the goods in mid-February 2026.
