The price of gold rings continues to hover at record highs, many people are still lining up at gold shops waiting to buy.

"Taking root" before the store opened

According to Lao Dong reporters today (September 29), on Tran Nhan Tong Street (Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi), people continue to line up at some large branded gold stores after a week of high gold ring prices. In contrast, for gold bars, there are very few transactions at the present time.

All this week, most gold shops have not announced the opening time for selling gold rings. That is why Ms. Nguyen Thanh Mai (Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi) chose to come before the store opened to "hunt" for plain round rings.

"Taking advantage of the weekend, I prepared cash and arrived very early to wait to buy plain gold rings. Luckily today I was the first person standing in front of the store so I hope to buy it quickly" - Ms. Mai said.

Similar to Ms. Mai, Mr. Ta Ngoc Hai (Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi) said: "People who come to sell gold have transactions very quickly, they don't have to wait in line like people buying rings like me.

Last time I also bought gold bars but now I switched to rings because I see the price increasing so I also hope to be able to store it and make a profit in the near future."

Ms. Pham Thi Nga - who just lined up for the first time today at a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong Street - shared: "I don't have time to wait in line to buy gold like everyone else. However, seeing that the price of gold rings increases every day, I decided to go buy it this morning for short-term investment. I came to this street early to wait, and it's been 2 hours now and I still haven't seen any gold for sale."
