This morning (April 22, 2025), the price of SJC gold bars was listed by DOJI Group and Bao Tin Minh Chau at 119-121 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 4 million VND/tael compared to the previous day. The difference between the buying and selling prices of SJC gold bars is currently at 2 million VND/tael.
Not only gold bars, the price of Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 round gold rings at DOJI also increased sharply, reaching 117-120 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 4.5 million VND/tael for buying and an increase of 4 million VND/tael for selling compared to a day before. The difference between the buying and selling prices of 9999 round gold rings at DOJI is currently at 3 million VND/tael.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the price of 9999 round gold rings was listed at 118-121 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 5 million VND/tael for buying and an increase of 4 million VND/tael for selling compared to the previous day. The difference between the buying and selling prices of 9999 round gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau is also at 3 million VND/tael.
However, looking back at a year, the gold price increase was really impressive. In the trading session on April 22, 2024, the price of SJC gold bars at DOJI Group was only listed at 80.7-83.15 million VND/tael (buy - sell), while Bao Tin Minh Chau was listed at 80.55-82.90 million VND/tael (buy - sell). At the same time, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold rings at DOJI only fluctuated from 74.85-76.70 million VND/tael, and Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 75.03-76.73 million VND/tael.
Compared to the price of a year ago, the price of SJC gold bars at DOJI increased sharply by 38.3 million VND/tael for buying (from 80.7 million VND to 119 million VND/tael) and 37.85 million VND/tael for selling (from 83.15 million VND to 121 million VND/tael).
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the price of gold bars increased by 38.45 million VND/tael for buying (from 80.55 million VND to 119 million VND/tael) and 38.10 million VND/tael for selling (from 82.90 million VND to 121 million VND/tael).
For 9999 round gold rings, the price at DOJI increased by 42.15 million VND/tael for buying (from 74.85 million VND to 117 million VND/tael) and 43.3 million VND/tael for selling (from 76.70 million VND to 120 million VND/tael).
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the increase in the buying direction was 42.97 million VND/tael (from 75.03 million VND to 118 million VND/tael) and 44.27 million VND/tael in the selling direction (from 76.73 million VND to 121 million VND/tael).
After a year of paying, buyers of SJC gold bars have earned a profit of 35.85 million VND/tael at DOJI and 36.10 million VND/tael at Bao Tin Minh Chau.
The owner of 9999 round gold rings also recorded a profit of 40.30 million VND/tael at DOJI and 41.27 million VND/tael at Bao Tin Minh Chau.
After a year of continuous price increases, the domestic gold market is recording high interest rates. However, many experts warn that the current difference between buying and selling prices is very high, posing many potential risks to investors.
When the difference is too high, if gold prices are adjusted down, investors may have difficulty withdrawing and face the risk of losses.
