Gold bars have a very high difference.
In recent trading weeks, the difference between buying and selling SJC gold bars has always been at the threshold of 2 million VND/tael. This threshold is considered very high, making it difficult for investors to make a profit when buying in the short term.
In today's trading session (October 21, 2024), DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND 86 - 88 million/tael (buy - sell). Similarly, Bao Tin Minh Chau and PNJ also listed the price of SJC gold at VND 86 - 88 million/tael (buy - sell).
With the current difference of 2 million VND/tael, the price of SJC gold needs to increase by more than 2 million VND/tael for buyers to start making a profit.
In fact, in the context of the current sharp increase in gold prices, this increase can be achieved in the short term. As of today's session, the price of gold bars has been adjusted by businesses to increase by 2 million VND/tael.
However, recently the price of SJC gold has not moved closely with the world market, so the price trend of this type of gold is quite difficult to predict.
Buy plain gold rings lower risk?
The current buying - selling price difference of 9999 smooth round gold rings is much lower than the price of SJC gold bars. As of 3:00 p.m. today (October 21), the price of Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 round gold rings at DOJI is listed at 85.6 - 86.65 million VND/tael (buy - sell); the difference is at 1.05 million VND/tael.
Compared to the previous trading session (October 20), DOJI adjusted the price of plain gold rings to increase by VND900,000/tael for buying and VND950,000/tael for selling.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of plain round gold at 85.63-86.63 million VND/tael (buy - sell), the difference is 1 million VND/tael.
Compared to the previous trading session (October 20), Bao Tin Minh Chau adjusted the price of plain gold rings to increase by VND 950,000/tael for both buying and selling.
In fact, the increase in plain gold rings today is lower than that of SJC gold bars. However, looking at the overall recent trading sessions, the profit that plain gold rings bring to investors is much higher than that of SJC gold bars.
From the session of October 16 until now, the gold price has only had one adjustment session at the threshold of 2 million VND/tael (both buying and selling directions). Meanwhile, the price of plain gold rings has had many adjustment sessions at high thresholds, up to 2.95 million VND/tael for buying and 2.8 million VND/tael for selling.
It is worth mentioning that the difference between buying and selling prices of plain gold rings is lower than that of SJC gold bars, so investors of plain gold rings will have much higher profits.
