    According to a survey by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters on October 7, MBBank applies a savings interest rate range for individual customers in the range of 0.1 - 5.7%/year.

    MBBank lists savings interest rates from 1-5 months ranging from 3.1 - 3.6%/year.

    For terms of 6-11 months, MBBank lists savings interest rates at 4.2%/year. Customers who deposit for 12-18 months receive interest rates from 4.9-4.8%/year. Customers who deposit for 24-60 months receive the highest interest rate at 5.7%/year.

    Customers with non-term deposits only receive interest at 0.1%/year.

    How much interest do you receive if you save 100 million VND?

    Readers can quickly calculate bank interest using the following formula:

    Interest = Deposit x interest rate (%)/12 months x number of months of deposit

    For example, you deposit 100 million VND into MBBank, with an interest rate of 5.7% for a 24-month term. The interest you receive is estimated at:

    100 million VND x 5.7%/12 x 24 = 11.4 million VND.
