Specific factors to calculate the classification score of commune administrative units

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 4, Article 6, Decree 307/2025/ND-CP regulating the classification of administrative units stipulates the following specific factors:

a) From 20% to 30% of the population is an ethnic minority and is entitled to 2 points; over 30%, for every additional 5%, an additional 0.25 points will be calculated, but not exceeding 3 points;

b) Having a national land border is counted at 3 points;

c) Having a special national monument or a heritage recognized by UNESCO is counted as 2 points.

d) Social security areas are calculated with 2 points.

Thus, the specific factors for calculating the classification score of commune administrative units are prescribed as above.
