Apartments without fire prevention solutions in electric vehicle charging areas are fined up to 100 million VND

Article 12, Decree No. 106/2025/ND-CP regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates fire prevention and fighting in the installation and use of electricity as follows:

1. Fines from VND 6,000,000 to VND 8,000,000 for the act of installing or using electrical wires, electrical equipment, turned off equipment, and protection that does not ensure fire safety.

2. Fines from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000 for failure to maintain equipped and installed fire prevention and fighting equipment.

3. Fine from VND 20,000,000 to VND 25,000,000 for failure to equip, install, or use explosives.

4. Fine from VND 40,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 for one of the following acts:

a) No fire prevention solution for the electric charging area for internal combustion engine vehicles;

b) No electrical system for fire prevention and fighting;

c) Failure to maintain power sources for fire prevention and fighting.

5. Fines twice the fine for acts specified in Clauses 1, 2 and 3 of this Article when a fire occurs but not to the extent of criminal prosecution.

6. Remedial measures:

Forced to implement fire prevention solutions for violations specified in Point a, Clause 4 of this Article.

Article 4 of Decree No. 106/2025/ND-CP stipulates:

1. The maximum fine for the field of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue for individuals is up to 50,000,000 VND. For organizations with the same violation, the fine is 02 times the fine for individuals.

2. The fine level prescribed in Chapter II of this Decree is the fine applied to an administrative violation by an individual.

3. Households, business households, and communities that violate the provisions of this Decree will be subject to fines for individuals who violate administrative regulations.

Thus, apartments without fire prevention solutions for electric charging areas for centralized electric motor vehicles in houses can be fined from 80,000,000 VND to 100,000,000 VND.
