Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:
Article 6 of the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level (effective from July 1, 2024) stipulates the following prohibited acts:
1. Using forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level contrary to the provisions of this Law or committing illegal acts.
2. Taking advantage of or abusing the task of protecting security and order at the grassroots level to commit illegal acts, harass or infringe upon the interests of the State and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals.
3. Impersonating forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
4. Insulting, threatening, obstructing, or opposing forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level while performing their duties.
5. Illegally manufacturing, trading, storing, using, possessing, counterfeiting, or mortgaging uniforms, badges, insignia, signs, or certificates of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
Thus, buying and selling uniforms of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level is a prohibited act according to the above regulations.
