The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just issued an official dispatch on exemption from high school graduation exams and priority for direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025.
According to the document, the Ministry of Education and Training said that the exam to select high school students to participate in national teams competing in the International and Regional Olympics in 2025 will have 133 students studying in grade 12 in the 2024-2025 school year participating.
The Ministry of Education and Training requests that the Departments of Education and Training exempt these candidates from the exam in the high school graduation exam for the 2024-2025 school year according to the regulations of the high school graduation exam.
Along with that, universities, academies, universities, and colleges prioritize direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025 according to the regulations of the admission regulations for these 133 candidates.
The list of students exempted from high school graduation exams and given priority for direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025 is as follows:












The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27.
From 2025, candidates studying the 2018 General Program in the high school graduation exam will only take 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects (Literature, Mathematics) and 2 elective subjects (from the remaining subjects studied in grade 12, including: Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology).
Except for Literature (time 120 minutes) for the essay exam, the remaining subjects, candidates will take multiple-choice tests. In which Math is the 90 minute test, the remaining subjects are the 50 minute test.
