At Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, candidates with an IELTS certificate and equivalent of 4.5 or higher can use it to convert English scores to apply for English subjects through the school's conversion system. The conversion applies to the following admission methods: Priority admission; admission based on high school transcripts; considering high school graduation exam scores.
Accordingly, candidates with an IELTS certificate of 4.5 - 7.0 will be converted to 7.5 - 10 points respectively. In addition, the school also allows the conversion of other foreign language certificates including: TOEFL iBT; TOEFL iTP; VSTEP B1.
