Increase enrollment quotas
Thanh Do University has just announced information on regular university admissions in 2026. Accordingly, the school enrolls 14 training majors with 04 admission methods. Specifically as follows:
- Admission based on high school graduation exam results
- Admission based on high school academic results
- Admission based on the results of competency assessment and thinking assessment tests
- Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training
Regarding enrollment quotas, the school plans to enroll 80 quotas for Nursing major (an increase of 30 quotas compared to 2025); enroll 180 quotas for Chinese Language major (an increase of 62 quotas compared to 2025)...

The school also plans to increase targets compared to 2025 for some training majors such as: Preschool Education 110 targets (an increase of 10 targets); Primary Education 220 targets (an increase of 20 targets); Veterinary 70 targets (an increase of 20 targets)...
This year, the school plans to open more training majors including: Political Science, Data Science, E-commerce.
Many changes in admission combinations
In 2026, Hanoi University of Industry is expected to open 4 new majors including: Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductive Microchips, Materials Technology. The expected enrollment target for 71 majors and programs is 8,300, an increase of about 300 compared to 2025.
At the same time, the school admits students by 19 combinations. Compared to last year, Hanoi University of Industry removed the X27 combination (Math, English, Industrial Technology), and also accepted 5 new combinations, including A02 (Math, Physics, Biology), C01 (Literature, Math, Physics), C03 (Literature, Math, History), C04 (Literature, Math, Geography), X05 (Math, Physics, Economic and Legal Education).
At the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in 2026, the school will not use high school academic results (admission records) in domestic regular university admissions.
The school enrolls students in 6 training majors with 3,000 quotas, keeping it stable compared to 2025. The school plans to use 5 admission combinations for all formal training majors in the country, including D01 (Math, Literature, English), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), C04 (Math, Literature, Geography), C03 (Math, Literature, History), X01 (Math, Literature, Economic and Legal Education).
Thus, compared to last year, in domestic training majors, the school no longer considers admissions by combinations A01, D09, D10.
For the Political Officer School, the school will use 4 combinations: C01 (Literature, Math, Physics), C03 (Literature, Math, History), C04 (Literature, Math, Geography) and D01 (Literature, Math, English) in the 2026 enrollment season.
Compared to last year, the school added the C01 combination and removed A00, C00.
